Empowering Single Mothers to Break the Cycle of Poverty and Thrive
At Empower Her Venture, our mission is to empower single mothers in rural Thika, Kenya, by providing them with the skills, resources, and support needed to achieve financial independence and improve their livelihoods. We aim to tackle ultra-poverty and create sustainable, thriving communities.

We are now focusing on four key points
Entrepreneurship Training
We provide a comprehensive 4-day entrepreneurship training covering livelihood management, business skills, health, and financial literacy. This training equips participants with the knowledge and skills to succeed in new and existing businesses.
Mentorship and Business Support
Our mentorship program connects single mothers with local and international mentors who provide personalized guidance and support for at least six months.
Financial Resources and Support
We facilitate access to microfinance opportunities, grants, and tailored resources to help participants start and grow their businesses.
Community Engagement
We foster robust community networks that encourage collaboration, knowledge exchange, and emotional support.
